When you paste a Threads URL into the downloader, we send that URL to our backend to extract public media metadata. We do not require an account, login, or any personal information.

Submitted URLs are kept in a short-lived in-memory cache (typically 5 minutes) and are not written to disk.
Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request time) are collected by our hosting and CDN providers for security and rate-limiting purposes only.
We do not store, share, or sell your downloads.

2. Cookies and analytics

The Service itself does not set tracking cookies. We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Google Analytics or similar) to understand aggregate usage. These tools may set cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies.

If we display advertisements (for example, through Google AdSense), third-party advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.

3. Downloads and media

Downloaded media is delivered directly from Meta's content delivery network to your browser. We do not host, store, or modify the media files. Copyright in downloaded content remains with its respective owners.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, applicable law gives you rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Because we do not store personally identifying information beyond short-lived server logs, most requests can be addressed by clearing your IP from our logs on request.
